I live in a mountainous state and enjoy the outdoors. I prefer large bodies of water to rocks. Fishing is something that is done during the course of a day and is not a day trip. I am a mother and it defines me as a human being. I am unashamedly Catholic. I have a BA in political science because as an undergraduate I realized that how humans organize themselves governmentally reflects their collective progress; I dove into government structures to gain a better perspective about the path of humanity toward true civilization.
I believe that my professional work should benefit the community as a whole. I am not a raging Capitalist and decided to quit my economics path as an undergraduate because Keynes and I don’t see eye to eye.
I’m just a female human being who is married with children…who is curious and passionate…and who often picks up a pen to ramble about her inner thoughts.
All things being true here-I peruse the inner thoughts of others in various forms: poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and plays–
This blog focuses on poems that I find irresistible.
Thanks for reading Poet Verse.
I hope you find inspiration from the posts and poetry!

The only bad thing about revamping Poet Verse is losing all the wonderful comments!

Carolina,
Thank you for your kind words. I hope that in some small way my blog will inspire others to look and listen for God in their lives. I’ve come to see that the signs are everywhere. Clearly the spirit is working through you and I appreciate anyone who has the courage to share their own journey. You’re very gifted and using those gifts well. I should expect nothing less from a fellow poli-sci major (what was I thinking?) Will follow your poetic posts in the days ahead.
peace
Kin

Awww, Kin, you are so sweet. You majored in poli sci too? That is fabulous. Your blog is like a breath of fresh air and I’m so happy you visited so I could find it. Thanks!
**I was very impressed by how kind in spirit you are-it shows in all your posts and that is a very special gift and way of being.
