THIS IS A TIME SENSITVE POST AND WILL BE REMOVED IN 48 HOURS. THANKS:)
I wrote this a while ago, but I was too shy to share it. I know you have wanted some of my poetry online–so here it is.
I hope it is satisfactory:) Blush:)

I see no reason for hesitation, except that it’s like you are standing naked for your poetry audience – but isn’t that always the case with poetry?
Intimate. Beautiful. I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’m glad I read this before it disappeared. I have mixed feelings about my aging body and whether I should fuss over it. I do want to stay healthy, but wonder who much of my fuss is about health or is it vanity and how bad is vanity? Poetry reveals the heart and soul. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful poem.

@poeticgrin: Thanks! You are right. I thought I would be more embarrassed, but some of my other poems were more revealing to me than this one.
@Catherine: I do think a lot of it is vanity on my part when I was younger. Now, I mainly just focus on building a healthier body to enjoy life in. I don’t think that comes in a specific dress size. You have the right attitude by not fussing over it for sure! I hope we can meet in CO!!
