Poetry Writing
July 16, 2008
I tried writing a sestina, but it was a disaster so I have decided to give the Pantoum a try. I will post my poem on here when it is done.
Keep writing–thanks for reading!

The Pantoum is a wonderful structure. Very difficult however like the Villanelle. Have you read some of Henry Austin Dobson’s work? He did this style.
I look forward to reading the fruits of your toil.
What went wrong with the Sestina by the way, if you don’t mind me asking?

Hi, Edward,
Thank you for visiting. I tried to visit your page, but it loaded with an error–will try again later.
I don’t know what happened with the Sestina–I was a little bored using the same words but usually I can overcome things like that. I did leave out one stanza. Maybe it isn’t the form for me. I did enjoy writing a Villanelle though.
